Technical Due Diligence - A Smarter Way

Technical Due Diligence process is about making better investments decisions based on appropriate information. It is a useful tool as part of the negotiation process. It ensures responsible entity compliance and strategises risk and extract any potential to enhance the asset. All of this is to ensure tenant retention and achieve higher returns.

Napier & Blakeley will provide insights into the technical due diligence process and take a commercial approach and ensure that the information gathered is used as a cornerstone in the asset management and ensuring the cost, risk & return proposition for property ownership is achieved.

Rob has over 21 years experience in Asset and Development Advisory services in both property and infrastructure sectors across Australia, Singapore and the UK. Rob joined Napier & Blakeley in 2004 and now leads the National Consulting business unit which provides commercially oriented and customer focused advice on some of the largest commercial property transactions in the Southern hemisphere

Rob will discuss the technical due diligence process of identifying and prioritising certain risks associated with commercial property transactions. Rob will the highlight the typical disciplines involved and scope inclusions and how the findings can be presented to aid the investment analysis and provide future strategies to maximise the return on investment.

John has over 27 years experience in Asset advisory and construction in large scale projects across Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. John returned to Napier & Blakeley in 1999 after a 9 year period working in Singapore. His particular passion is in deriving value from real estate. His area of focus includes asset management from a whole life of the property approach, from acquisition/development, during ownership and eventual disposal

John will discuss the fundamentals of increasing the net value of your asset from a strategic asset management approach.
